Timberland Tires, a brand of Omni United Pte Ltd. and its affiliates in the United States and Canada (collectively, "Omni,” "Omni United,” "we," "us" and "our") provide you with access to our web site at, subdomains and any other sites we may provide from time to time (individually or collectively, the "Web Sites") subject to the following:

For the sake of clarity and avoidance of doubt, only sites owned and operated by us are subject to this Global Web Site Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy"). Your access to and use of the Web Sites is governed by the Omni United/Timberland Tires Global Website Terms of Use.

This Privacy Policy describes and governs how we collect information about your use of the Web Sites and how we use and share such information.

Importantly, we may revise this Privacy Policy and post any changes to our Web Sites so that you are always informed about what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it. What information do we collect?

Most of the information we collect from you at the Web Sites does not personally identify you to us, though it may be unique or consist of or contain information that you consider personal. For example, we automatically collect the following information: clickstream information such as the address of the web site that you came from before visiting any of the Web Sites, which pages you visit on the Web Sites, what country you are browsing from and what default language your internet browser is set to, which browser you used to view the Web Sites and any search terms you have entered on the Web Sites, as well as the user’s path on the website (vehicle search, tire search. This information is anonymous, meaning we cannot identify you personally unless you identify yourself, for example, by making a purchase, or by giving us your e-mail address.

From time to time, we may conduct surveys; run contests, offer mailings or other promotions. You will be provided with an opportunity to indicate whether you wish to participate in these activities in accordance with relevant notice and consent requirements under applicable local laws. If you choose to participate in one of our surveys, contests mailings or other promotions, we'll probably ask for some personal information such as your shopping habits, e-mail address, telephone number and other information so we can run the promotion and notify winners.

When you send us a request, such as to our customer service department, or inquire about career opportunities, we may ask you to identify yourself by name and/or e-mail address in order to send you a response, if appropriate.

How do we use Cookies and Pixel Tags?

  • Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. A cookie may contain information such as recognizing you when you return to the Web Sites, which pages you have seen and what advertisements, how frequently certain pages are visited, and remembering the items in your shopping bag. Most web browsers are set up to accept cookies; you can usually change your browser settings to refuse cookies but you may experience difficulties while shopping online on the Web Sites.
  • We also use pixel tags, tiny graphic images, to help us analyze your online shopping patterns, create content designed for your connection speeds, and deliver e-mail in a format you can read.
  • Omni United/Timberland Tires and our trusted third-party providers use cookies and pixel tags to monitor and maintain information about your use of the Web Sites over time and understand your preferences based on previous or current site visits so that we can offer better site experiences and services in the future.
  • Please note that when you place an order for our products using the Web Sites, we need to know information such as your name, e-mail address, billing address, phone number, and debit or credit card number so we can process and fulfill your order, and contact you if we have any questions. This information is known as "personal information" because it is capable of identifying you as a living individual. Personal information is afforded certain protections under data privacy and other laws and you can be assured that your personal information will be handled at all times by us in compliance with such laws. Some browsers have a "do not track" feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. These features are not yet uniform, so we are not currently set up to respond to those signals. If you block of delete cookies, not all of the tracking that we have described in this policy will stop.

How do we use the information we collect?

When you place an order on the Web Sites we use your personal information to process and fulfill your order. We may send you an e-mail to confirm or to update you on the status of your order. We may also need to contact you by regular mail, e-mail or phone if we have any questions about your order. We may also use your personal information to respond to any of your customer service inquiries.

We maintain the personal information that you provide us, along with a record of your purchases, in a secure database. To best serve you, we may combine this information with data that is publicly available and data that we collect in our own stores, at our marketing events, or receive from other business partners and/or reputable sources.

Do we share your information with third parties?

We may share your personal information with our trusted third-party service providers to help us manage and operate the Web Sites, such as processing your order, performing statistical analysis, sending you e-mail, postal mail or text messages, providing customer support and performing other important services. Although these partners may not be affiliated with us, they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and are not authorized to discuss, disclose or make any use of your personal information except as necessary to provide such services. We or our third-party service providers may disclose personal information if we or they reasonably believe that it's necessary to: (i) investigate any suspected breach of the Terms of Use made by or otherwise relating to you; (ii) comply with applicable federal, state or local laws, rules, regulations or orders; (iii) to protect or defend the rights, property and interests of Timberland Tires, Timberland Tires business partners, affiliates or its guests, or the interests of our third-party service providers; and (iv) under exigent circumstances, to protect the personal safety of users of the Web Sites or the public.

Your personal information will be held by us for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, for the settlement of any potential disputes which may be raised or otherwise in accordance with legal requirements.

How do we protect the privacy of children?

We do not sell or ship any items ordered through the Web Sites directly to anyone who we know to be under the age of 13, nor do we collect any personal information from anyone who we know to be under the age of 13 on any of the Web Sites. Unfortunately, we cannot always determine if a visitor to any of the Web Sites is a minor child. If you are under the age of 13, you should use the Web Sites only with the involvement of a parent or guardian and should not submit any personal information to us.

How do we make sure information is secure?

We use the latest encryption technology (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) to secure your personal information. The personal information you provide when you place an order is encrypted (or coded) using a secure server for maximum security. This coding makes it extremely difficult for anyone to reach your personal information as it moves through our ordering system.

Are all the pages on the Web Sites secure?

Most of the pages on our Web Sites provide information about Omni United/Timberland Tires and our products. We make this information available freely and there is no reason for these pages to be "secure". The pages that we make secure are the ones on which you provide personal information, and on which you actually make a purchase, such as when managing your profile or account, checking your order status, or with the "Checkout" area. For example, the entire checkout process, from introduction to final confirmation, is completely secure.
